Flower of the Day: Muscari
By February, it feels like Spring has sprung around here. Intermittent showers keep the ground moist as bulbs sprout and branches blossom. Amongst the early showers today I found a small field of Muscari so bright and dense on the side of the road I had to stop. These Muscari (also known as grape hyacinth due to their mild grape-like scent) had proliferated all along the border of a front garden and even in the parkway.
