Liberty-mania has hit the U.S. with the premier of Target’s new collaboration with the classic London retailer. If you’ve shopped the Target collection and still want more, check out the limited edition Liberty has produced for Paris’s hottest concept shop Merci. Something tells me my life would be more complete if I owned a Liberty print bolero with ruffle embellishments (£135).

Thanks to {frolic!} for the tip.
Do you live outside of New York City? Do you wonder what this mysterious thing Partners & Spade is? Have you previously visited their website, and been delighted by an animated image of two girls playing ping pong, but still not understood what the heck was going on over there? Well, things have gotten a lot clearer thanks to a beautiful new redesign of their website. The Studio helps companies with brand identity, publishes books, and produces films. The Store hosts happenings and exhibits and sells books, films, found objects, and other fun miscellany. Take a tour, virtually attend a happening, and resist the urge to buy an ax. Or don’t.

On a related note, I’m thrilled to have discovered the genius of Lindsey Taylor via the new Partners & Spade site, although “discovered” may be the wrong word since I’ve probably been looking at Taylor’s work for years on the covers of magazines. A former garden editor of Martha Stewart Living and Domino, Taylor now works as a freelance floral stylist and garden designer. Partners & Spade exclusively sells Taylor’s terrarium she designed in collaboration with Atlas Industries. Her personal site is pared down to one beautiful image, but you can see more of her work at Big Leo Productions (her representation) by clicking here and here .

Amazing.
I’m thrilled to report that in spite of a very unfortunate incident of graffiti at February’s disco, EpiscoDisco will continue this month at Grace Cathedral on Saturday March 13th at 7PM. Come show your support for this unique event so that it may continue to provide us with extraordinary arts and music experiences in the incomparable setting of Grace Cathedral. This month artist Brian Caraway is presenting a new piece called “Glimmer and Shift,” inspired by the way light passes across Grace Cathedral’s stained glass windows. Music at the event comes courtesy of Beat Electric. See you there.
